1yr 11mos Meyers Parrot, hand-fed, very tame & cuddly in Cary, Illinois For Sale

One year old Meyers Parrot for rehoming. ABSOLUTELY NO RESELLERS!!!
We have had this bird since hand feeding as a baby. Surgically sexed female seen by Dr. Scott McDonald. Healthy bird, in good weight, excellent full plumage. This year she has been getting in more and more yellow head feathers; the pictures are from various points of her yellow feathers coming in.
Our circumstances have changed and we feel terrible... rehoming our Meyers has been a very difficult decision. You must be able to provide a better home for her than what we currently provide or she will stay with us until we find the family we are looking for. Don't be surprised if we have our own questions for you as we are interviewing you as well.
Her name is Kiwi. She was hatched on Jan. 21, xxxx. She can talk, and has a diet of lots of fresh veggies, some fruits, pellets, Higgins seed, plus nutri-berries, popcorn, cheerios, etc. She is very healthy and always has been. She was purchased from a private breeder. She is super tame. This bird has clipped wings allowing a safe glide to the ground.
You must have some parrot experience, or prove to us you are willing to research/learn.

Rehoming fee is $425 for the bird, which will include things you need to take for her to have some familiarity during this transition, her food, and some toys. We are only interested in finding the right family, so if you discuss price right away, we will know you are not the right new home. A good family match for the bird is our first concern.
